Overview
Understanding which products to exempt from your TryFit program can significantly improve both your operational efficiency and customer experience.
By exempting non-physical items like service fees, digital downloads, or protection plans, your TryFit program can correctly calculate when an order is fully returned without false exceptions.
Common examples of products to exempt:
Order Protection or warranty services
Digital downloads and instructions
Gift wrapping fees
Membership fees
Virtual services
TryFit program fees themselves
Getting Started
To begin adding products to your exemption rules, go to: Program > Returns
Within the Exempt Products table, we provide an overview of all the products which have been added to your program including the Product Name, and Product ID. You can remove a product at any time, by clicking the "Remove" button.
To add a new product your exempt list, click "Add Exempt Product" on the right.
The prompt will allow you to search for products based on:
Product Title
Product ID
Once you find a product to add, click the Add button. Once you're happy with the selections, click "Submit" at the bottom.
Handling of Exempt Products
After an item is listed within your exempt product table, TryFit will:
Exclude this product total from the return balance and product count related to the order.
Update performance reports to account for the change, to ensure your analytics are accurate.
