Overview
This article will walk you through how the TryFit program works from the Shopper's prospective with their new trial.
TryFit experience for Shoppers
Shoppers browse your Shopify store normally and click the TryFit button "Try Before You Buy" to add a product to their cart.
Shoppers checkout with no payment upfront required for their Try Before You Buy products. The shopper's card is authorized for the full amount to ensure funds are available once the trial is over.
Once the order has been delivered to the customer, the trial period will begin. The trial period can be customized under your program settings.
After the trial ends, customers decide if they wish to return a product or keep the products they love. If at least 1 product is kept, the card saved on file is automatically charged the authorized amount from checkout. Any returned products require the customer to go through the brand's return process.
All of the steps in the flow can be found by going to Order History > Order Details. Within the Order Details page, TryFit gives a timeline of these events helping to keep your brand aware of how the trial is proceeding. To learn more about these two pages please review these support articles:
