Overview
One of the most important aspects of your Try Before You Buy program is the decision of your trial cart limit, and how long the product trial should be for customers. Fortunately, TryFit makes it easy to configure these settings in just a few clicks from your account.
Once your program settings have been saved, they can be updated at anytime. We encourage these changes based on your TryFit performance reports, in order to optimize the best experience for your brand and customer alike.
Get Started
To get started configuring your program settings go to: Program > Cart & Payments
From here, there are a few options to configure:
Cart size limit - this controls how many trial products can be purchased by a customer within a single cart. We recommend to keep this at 6 or less.
Trial Length (days) - this controls how long the customer can try out the product in their home. We recommend to keep this at 7 days. The trial will only begin once the product has been delivered to the customer or after 10 days, if Shopify fails to provide a delivered event status (rare).
Post-Trial Charge Delay (days) - once a trial has been completed, the payment method on file for this order will be charged in # days based on this setting. Let's say for example, this value is set to 14 days, this means after a 7 day trial the customer can either return their product or keep what they love. After 14 days, the payment method used on their order is charged for the products they kept.
