Overview

Program Rules define specific criteria that determine when the TryFit button should not be displayed on product pages. These rules help you customize the Try Before You Buy (TBYB) experience based on various factors including product types, customer segments, or other business requirements.

By default, without any Program Rules configured, the TryFit button will be visible on all product pages and accessible to all customers. This provides maximum exposure for your TBYB program.

When to use Program Rules

Depending on your business requirements, we generally recommend to use program rules when any of the following are true:

  • Exclude certain product collections from the entire TBYB program

  • Limit the TBYB experience to specific customer groups via tags

  • Temporarily disable the button for selected products

  • Create a more tailored shopping experience

Get Started

To start configuring your program rules go to: Program > Rules

Once on the page, you'll have the ability to add as many rules as you like. By default, we support the following options:

  • Traffic Type - select if this rule should limit visibility by a Customer's Tag or if all customers should be affected by this rule. The customer must be logged-in for the tag to take effect.

  • Product Condition - select to exclude particular products based on their: Collection, Vendor or Product Tag.

  • Rule Status - this controls if the rule is enabled for customers or disabled.

Once you're happy with your rule settings, click Submit to finalize the process.

If you ever need to make a change to existing rule, click the Edit button in the table or Delete if you wish to remove this rule completely.
